RADIO OMBAK is a café pop-up launched in September of 2025 in Boston, Massachusetts. “Ombak” meaning “wave” in Indonesian, reflects our mission to create a new wave of cultural connection and visibility of the Indonesian diaspora. 

Our focus is to share the flavors of our homeland through traditional and reimagined snacks and drinks inspired by Indonesia’s lively street food culture. Each snack on the menu is meant to be “hand-food,” an ode to the way Indonesian people eat. Our specialty drinks feature thoughtfully sourced teas and locally roasted Sumatran coffee beans. Every syrup is made in-house, using fresh and whole ingredients. You’ll notice our menu is constantly evolving, so join us for each event.
